Puppy Class and Enrichment
While this session has started there is still time to join!
One of our most fun and important classes, Puppy Class is a critical first-step. Our class focuses on giving your puppy well-rounded enrichment and socialization with a gentle introduction to obedience skills. We'll start with puppy sits, downs, and stays, work on leash walking and recalls, and more! And who doesn't love to spend an hour with puppies?! This class is for puppies up to six months of age.
Starts: July 12th (no class July 26th, final class August 23rd)

Puppy Too! Sundays - FULL
Join us for a manners class designed for adolescent dogs - six months to one year. Taking your puppy a step beyond Puppy Class, we're going to start building on that foundation to improve focus and practice our skills - like leash walking, sits, downs, stays, leave it, polite greetings and beyond! All while keeping it fun and age appropriate - because while they are getting bigger they are still puppies too! Sorry, no play time in this class, but we will work on being calm around our friends. This class is limited in size and fills up fast. If it is full please email and find out about the wait-list. Puppy Too is for dogs six months to one year old and does not require a prior class to enroll.

Therapy Dog 101
This six week class is designed to fine tune the obedience skills necessary for Therapy Dog work, as well as build on the skills of the handler. We will work on loose leash walking around distractions, doorway skills, build calm around distractions and expose them to common scenarios you might experience in therapy dog visits. This is the first part of a new Therapy Dog series at Good Choice Dog Training, and while it does not include the assessment, we will help connect you to local therapy dog organizations and provide an informal evaluation at the end so you know the best next steps.

Community Canine Prep Class
Have you taken the Canine Good Citizen Test and are looking for the next step? This class will prepare you to test for the Community Canine Title. We will work on all the test items, with the final class being the evaluation. Your dog is required to have their Canine Good Citizen certification prior to attending.

NEW Virtual Class: Cooperative Care Foundaations
We are pleased to offer a six-week virtual Cooperative Care Foundations course designed to help dogs and their owners develop essential skills for easier handling, grooming, and routine care.
This course emphasizes building a strong foundation rather than achieving perfection. Participants will learn how to initiate the training process, interpret their dog’s communication, and continue making progress at home.
Cooperative care focuses on encouraging dogs to actively participate in their care through trust, choice, and clear communication, promoting greater comfort and confidence. Enrollment is limited. Please email or call to reserve your spot or to request additional information.
Topics may include:
- Chin rest
- Mat or station training
- Handling foundations (paws, ears, mouth, body)
- Nail trimming and grooming preparation
- Muzzle introduction
- Teaching dogs to opt in and take breaks
Participants will gain practical skills, a deeper understanding of their dog’s behavior, and a structured plan for continued progress at home. Individual results may vary.

Bravery Games
Help your dog build confidence in a safe, supportive environment! This class will use positive reinforcement training, fun games, and carefully designed exercises to help shy or anxious dogs feel more comfortable and in control. We focus on strengthening trust, improving focus, and celebrating small wins at your dog’s pace. Watch your dog gain confidence while you both enjoy learning together.

Stays that Stick!
Do you want your dog to be able to stay around distractions, both at home and in public? Whether it’s your backyard, your local trail, a (dog friendly) patio, or the agility course, this mini class will help give you the skills to teach a "stay" that sticks. A skill that is a must have in a multi-dog household!
